SEFRELSHOP TAKES FIRST PLACE AT THE AFRICA SME ASSEMBLY 2025

History was made on the 28th of August 2025 at The Stable, Surulere, in Lagos, Nigeria, as SefrelShop took first place at The Africa SME Assembly 2025 (ASA25) competition, securing its first grant and an 8-week incubation programme.

The Africa SME Assembly is a platform committed to bridging the gap between African businesses and the tools, knowledge, and investment they need to thrive in an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

SefrelShop aspires for “Made-in-Nigeria” to be synonymous with quality and innovation, driving strong economic growth within Nigeria. With the theme ‘Emerging Technologies for Business growth’, The Africa SME Assembly 2025 grant was to support and scale this vision. Through this, SefrelShop will be more equipped to provide visibility and support for products that are authentically made by Nigerians.

What Next?

For us at SefrelShop, this is a call to action—to change the narrative about locally made products as fake or substandard. We are to bridge the gap between made-in-Nigeria businesses and consumers, thereby boosting the economy.
